Did you know....Jeff was prom king at Tippecanoe High School's Prom?
Did you know....Stranger is #1 worldwide in CD sales for bands with the name Stranger?
Did you know....Stranger was started by Jeff in December of 1985.
Did you know....the band that you know as Stranger's first name was "The Independents". We were playing on the Fourth of July in Tipp City and we needed a name so we went with something patriotic. We then realized that we wanted to try to have a career beyond just that gig so we changed the name to "Panorama" before the show. In the newspaper, we were "The Independents". Our stage sign said "Panorama".
Did you know...."Panorama" came from an old Cars album from the 70's. We liked the meaning because all of the guys in the group came from a wide range or backgrounds-hence, a panoramic view of music.
Did you know....The first song we ever learned as a band was "Just What I Needed" by the Cars. Our first practice session featured Jeff on vocals AND.......drums! We would later get a "real drummer."
Did you know....Panorama became Stranger in 1991. The name came from a guy named Tom who played bass in the band for about two gigs-just long enough to get us to totally change our name. He liked the image of a guy in a trench coat in a dark alley. Not exactly what we wanted to say the least. We have talked about changing the name a hundred times but it finally began to stick.
Did you know....Since 1985, we have had 5 different drummers...Brian, Shane, Ron, Chris and Rob.
Did you know....Since 1985, we have had two different bass players...Matt and Bruce.
Did you know....We have released a total of 4 original recordings since 1985. "Here We Go" in 1988. "Havin' Fun Tonight" in 1990. "After Hours" in 1991. "All" in 1995. The first three were only on cassette. "All" is the only recording on CD. All recordings feature original songs written by Jeff and various other previous band members.
Did you know....Jeff used to drink Orange juice during every gig in the 80's and early 90's. He has recently found out that there couldn't be anything worse for your voice than OJ. Now, it's always water!
Did you know....We were selected and featured on the "Ace Music Best of the Best" CD in 1995. The song "No Words", written for Jeff's wife Vicki, was the song chosen 7th best out of over 200 entries!
Did you know....Stranger has been mis-marqueed and mispelled more than 80 times in its illustrius career.
Did you know....Henry Lee Summer's manager listened to our "After Hours" tape back in 1991 and said we "had some potential as song writers and performers."
Did you know....Matt was finalist in a national talent contest at Disney World.

Did you know....Stranger has played the Mix 107.7 Time Warp Prom for the past 2 years.
Did you know....Statistically, it is impossible for Matt to attend an OSU/Michigan football game and play the same night.

Did you know....One member of Stranger is a software consultant, another is a patent attorney, one is a master of cars, and the other two are in broadcast media.
Did you know....Jeff is the only member of the band with a perfect gig attendance record (isn't that special?).
Did you know....Matt's favorite vegetable: beer.
Did you know....Brian and Rob played in a band called "Circuit" in their college days... Rob sang lead, played keys and guitar, Brian played drums, or was it the other way around, if either of us could remember ... we were never there.
Did you know....Matt can play more notes per second than legally allowed in at least 7 southern states.
Did you know....Rob's first band was actually the Purcell-Marian marching band, which was so small, it had less members than Stranger.
Did you know....Rob loves to play golf, although he has only broken 80 once in his life.
Did you know....Rob took place 3rd in a Statewide Math Competition while in High School. The two guys that beat him were a couple geeks from Chillicothe.
The stuff below is still being verified to find out if any of it is true...Some of it could be, but we're just not sure.
Did you know....Jeff was selected during the 1988 Major League Baseball Amatuer Draft...however that "selection" was for a pick-up basketball game that was played while the draft was going on.

Did you know....Rob mastered his drum technique by carefully studying the beat centric nuances of Karen Carpenter.
Did you know....Jeff has a beautiful tolerant wife and two gorgeous kids, despite which, Jeff would still like a chimpanzee.
